DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at CPS Loop Office\, 42 West Madison S
 treet\, Garden Level\, Board Room. The Board President and the Chief Execu
 tive Officer have determined that registered speakers who wish to present 
 during Public Participation may have the option to participate in person a
 t the location of the Board meeting or virtually via an electronic platfor
 m. The public will have access to the meeting via live stream at cpsboe.or
 g.\nInterim Guidelines have been issued by the President of the Board of E
 ducation of the City of Chicago in accordance with Board Rule 2-4.1. These
  Interim Guidelines are effective July 26\, 2021. During the period they a
 re in effect\, these Interim Guidelines supersede the Public Participation
  Guidelines issued August 28\, 2013 (rev. September 13\, 2018).\nWhen regi
 stration opens\, 30 public participation slots will be available to member
 s of the public\, who can participate in person or virtually via an electr
 onic platform that the Board will offer.\nFor the March 23\, 2022 Board Me
 eting\, advance registration to speak will be available beginning Monday\,
  March 21st at 10:30 a.m. and will close on Tuesday\, March 22nd at 5:00 p
 .m.\, or until all slots are filled. Advance registration during this peri

  comments for Board of Education meetings via the Written Comments Form on
  the Board’s website at www.cpsboe.org or mailed to 1 N Dearborn\, Suite 9
 50. Written comments received between the day the public agenda is posted 
 through 5 p.m. the day after the Board of Education meeting will be submit
 ted to the Board and posted within five (5) business days on our website a
 t www.cpsboe.org.
