DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at Colman Office\, 4655 S Dearborn Str
 eet\, Auditorium. The Board President and the Chief Executive Officer have
  determined that registered speakers who wish to present during Public Par
 ticipation may have the option to participate in person at the location of
  the Board meeting or virtually via an electronic platform. The public wil
 l have access to the meeting via live stream at cpsboe.org.\nThe Public Pa
 rticipation segment of the meeting will begin as indicated in the meeting 
 agenda and proceed in accordance with Public Participation guidelines. Age
 nda Review Committee meetings will be live-streamed to the general public 
 on the Board website (www.cpsboe.org). \nFor the October 16\, 2024\, Agend
 a Review Committee meeting\, in observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day on M
 onday\, October 14th\, advance registration to speak will be available beg
 inning Friday\, October 11th at 10:30 a.m. and will close on Tuesday\, Oct
 ober 15th at 10:30 a.m. Anyone interested in speaking can sign up. After t
 he 24 hour registration period\, a lottery will randomly select a set numb
 er of speakers from those who registered. For example\, if 100 people regi
 ster\, the lottery might select 30 of them to speak. This process gives ev
 eryone a fair chance to address the Board. Advance registration during thi

 submit written comments for the Agenda Review Committee meeting can do so

 posting of the public agenda and notice is posted through 5 p.m. the day a
 fter the Agenda Review Committee meeting will be submitted to the Board fo
 r their consideration and posted within five (5) business days on our webs
 ite at www.cpsboe.org.
