DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at CPS Loop Office\, 42 West Madison S
 treet\, Garden Level\, Board Room. The Board President and the Superintend
 ent/Chief Executive Officer have determined that registered speakers who w
 ish to present during Public Participation may have the option to particip
 ate in person at the location of the Board meeting or virtually via an ele
 ctronic platform. The public will have access to the meeting via live stre
 am at cpsboe.org.\nThe Public Participation segment of the meeting will be
 gin as indicated in the meeting agenda and proceed in accordance with Publ
 ic Participation guidelines. Board Meetings will be live-streamed to the g
 eneral public on the Board website (www.cpsboe.org).\nFor the October 8\, 
 2026 Operations Committee Meeting\, advance registration to speak will be 
 available beginning Tuesday\, October 6th\, at 10:30 a.m. and will close o
 n Wednesday\, October 7th\, at 10:30 a.m. Anyone interested in speaking ca
 n sign up. After the 24-hour registration period\, a lottery will randomly
  select a set number of speakers from those who registered. For example\, 
 if 100 people register\, the lottery might select 5 of them to speak. This
  process provides everyone with a fair opportunity to address the Board. A

 ted through 5 p.m. the day after the Board of Education meeting will be su
 bmitted to the Board for their consideration and posted within five (5) bu
