DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at CPS Loop Office\, 42 West Madison S
 treet\, Garden Level\, Board Room. The Board President and the Superintend
 ent/Chief Executive Officer have determined that registered speakers who w
 ish to present during Public Participation may have the option to particip
 ate in person at the location of the committee meeting or virtually via an
  electronic platform. The public will have access to the meeting via live 
 stream at cpsboe.org.\nThe Public Participation segment of the meeting wil
 l begin as indicated in the meeting agenda and proceed in accordance with 
 Public Participation guidelines. Committee Meetings will be live-streamed 
 to the general public on the Board website (www.cpsboe.org).\nFor the Nove
 mber 12\, 2026 Black Student Achievement Committee\, advance registration 
 to speak will be available beginning Tuesday\, November 10th\, at 10:30 a.
 m. and will close on Wednesday\, November 11th\, at 10:30 a.m. Anyone inte
 rested in speaking can sign up. After the 24-hour registration period\, a 
 lottery will randomly select a set number of speakers from those who regis
 tered. For example\, if 100 people register\, the lottery might select fiv
 e (5) of them to speak. This process provides everyone with a fair opportu
 nity to address the Board. Advance registration during this period is avai

 omments for Board of Education meetings can do so via the Written Comments

 he public agenda and notice is posted through 5 p.m. the day after the Bla
 ck Student Achievement Committee meeting will be submitted to the Board fo
 r their consideration and posted within five (5) business days on our webs
 ite at www.cpsboe.org.
